**Job description**

Playworkers/ Deputy Managers to work before and/or after school ranging from 7.5 to 20 hours per week

Monday-Friday term time only

We are looking to appoint a range of staff to who will be working across The Pegasus Academy Trust Children’s Clubs based at Cypress Primary School, Whitehorse Manor Schools, Beulah Infant School and Ecclesbourne Primary School

Qualifications: Experience with working with children essential. DBS required.
Skills required include the ability to:

- establish constructive relationships with pupils and interact with them according to individual needs;
- promote the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils;
- communicate effectively with staff and children;
- demonstrate good organisational skills;
- demonstrate adaptability and flexibility, enthusiasm and commitment
- be reliable and have high expectations.

Responsibilities: Ensure there is a secure and welcoming facility to support, motivate and supervise pupils in play and meal settings in an after school setting.

Be responsible for the health, safety, conduct and well being of all pupils enrolled in the after school club allocated under the duty rota.

Provide a caring, secure environment, through individual attention and group activities, and to organise an appropriate range of leisure activities for children between the ages of 2 to 11.

Cleaning duties - clear away resources/equipment, clear dining tables, sweeping and mopping floors as well as washing-up.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £15.66 per hour

Expected hours: 7.5 - 22 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
