Fixed term 12-month contract.

This 12-month fixed term position has arisen to support the service during their transformation whilst ensuring business continuity and delivery. You will be confident with Microsoft Office and Teams software, able to plan and to manage your daily workload but also be flexible to meet changing needs of the teams.

This role is within the Business Support function of Intermediate Care. The post holder will work with band 4 Business Support Officers and will be responsible for providing efficient, effective, and timely administrative support for the Intermediate Care Teams. Such support will include liaison with clinical and non-clinical staff in the Intermediate Care Teams and wider Trust teams, use of internal systems, effective communication, and administration of all aspects to ensure smooth service delivery.

Our clinical teams deliver many NHS services not only via inpatient and primary care setting but also with the community. These services include Children, Adult & Older Peoples mental & physical health, Forensic & Specialist mental health, Learning Disabilities, Primary Care & Liaison psychiatry, Substance misuse, Social care, Research & Development.

1. To provide support to band 4 Business Support Officers, and managers with the implementation of policies and procedures.
2. Complete administration tasks delegated by Operational Managers, Business Support Officers, Care Coordinators and Team Leads within the locality.
3. Provide countywide support required.
4. To provide business support to wider members of locality team as required.
5. To support with annual leave records for teams using health roster, liaising with Line Manager and other managers to ensure appropriate and continuing cover.
6. To provide support with maintaining healthroster for Team Leads.
7. Support managers and clinical staff with aspects of the recruitment of staff in line with the processes and policies, including that newly appointed staff undergo their local and Trust inductions.
8. Be responsible for organising and controlling own workload ensuring deadlines are observed and duties performed efficiently.
9. Work with managers and Business Support Officers supporting the introduction and proactive management of any new processes and initiatives.
