What you'll do

Shift based working pattern: Monday to Sunday, mainly home working with touchdown days required in the office (Osterley) when required.
- Responsible for accurately producing and editing subtitle files for Sky Italia
- Edit text retrieved from caption files, production scripts or ASR scripts into Sky Italia’s pre-recorded subtitle format.
- Assisting with subtitle queries to ensure all Access Services are of a standard to be compliant with technical specifications, guidelines and Sky SLAs
- Exhibit the communication skills vital to collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure subtitles are completed and delivered on time.
- Work as part of a team in a collaborative way across the Group
- Play a pivotal role in major projects, representing the department and wider business areas, ensuring that the customer is at the central point of all work being carried out.
- Adhere to productivity requirements.
- Manage day-to-day allocations for yourself and your colleagues ensuring all titles are allocated and completed within the required timescales.
- Be aware of late schedule changes and manage urgent and late delivery subtitles effectively.
- Exhibit quick reactions and responses to technical and operational problems and raise to line management/technical support.

What you'll bring
- Excellent English grammar and spelling are crucial for this position.
- A good understanding and command of Italian language is advantageous.
- Attention to detail and research is essential in this role.
- A high level of customer service and client focus.
- Excellent organisation skills to deal with and prioritise your daily workload.
- Experience multi-tasking and problem solving under pressure.
- Ability to demonstrate clear and concise communication skills with colleagues.
- Previous Access Services experience is preferable.
- Ability to adapt to different subtitling styles to meet changing needs of the business and, where vital, to improve output.
- With training gain the ability to use subtitling software and be able to absorb new versions or systems as introduced.

Osterley

Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There are also plenty of bike shelters and showers.
