Harper Macleod are currently seeking a Legal Support Apprentice to join their firm in Inverness, with the view of them being trained as a Legal Secretary upon completion of their apprenticeship. This is a really exciting opportunity for someone who wouldlike to begin their career within a law firm

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Audio and copy typing using BigHand software (training will be provided)
- Communicate internally and externally using MS Outlook
- Update MS Excel documents accordingly
- Assist with Client and matter opening
- Handle telephone enquiries in a polite & professional manner within the agreed timescales
- Participate in ad hoc projects
- Reception cover on an ad-hoc basis
- Processing mail
- General administration including typing, filing, photocopying, scanning

**Required Skills**:

- Professional attitude and well presented
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and in writing
- Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
- Ability to use initiative
- Attention to detail
- Experience of dealing directly with clients face to face or by telephone (advantage)

**Additional Information**:

- Salary **-**£18,018 per annum
- Future salary will be discussed should you be offered a permanent role.
- Monday - Friday 09:00am - 17:00pm

**Future Career Progression**:

- Should you perform well in this role there is an opportunity for you to take up a permanent position at the end of your qualification. Many of our previous apprentices are still with the company.
