Assistant Patient Coordinator

LaserVision is a small and well established organisation delivering high quality ophthalmic treatments to adult private patients, working in partnership with selected private hospital partners. We are looking for an Assistant Patient Coordinator to join our small and friendly team based in Portsmouth.
HOURS OF WORK: 22.5 hours per week (Mon 9-5/Wed 9-5/Fri 9-5)
**Benefits**:
- Salary: £19,000- £20,000 per annum **pro rata **dependent upon experience
- 25 days A/L plus bank holidays

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
The Assistant Patient Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring our patients experience a truly professional journey, from initial enquiry right through to being discharged post treatment. You will assist in various administrative duties supporting patients such as preparing the day to day schedules for clinics or surgery sessions. You will also undertake a wide range of tasks such as scanning and filing documents, drafting letters and managing phone calls.
**KEY SKILLS REQUIRED**
Essential:
- Reliable, trustworthy, positive team player
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Proactive by nature and highly motivated. Able to work on own initiative, either individually or as part of a team.
- Effective time management, organisational & planning skills
- Flexible approach
Desirable:
- Competent IT skills, especially using Google & Microsoft operating systems
- Experience in providing input for charts, spreadsheets and management reports
**Education**:
- A-Level or equivalent (preferred). Minimum 5 GCSE's including English Language
**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm
Contract length: 6 months
Part-time hours: 22.5 per week
**Salary**: £19,000.00-£20,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
