Grant Thornton's Financial Services Group (FSG) provides the advice necessary to help clients with advice, assurance and implementation support for Data, Regulatory & Financial Technology Solutions (RegTech) and Digital areas.

The Digital, RegTech & Data Team is a group high-calibre individuals with direct Financial Services sector experience linked to the leverage of Technology and Data in support of the Business. We work across a number of exciting areas including AI, ESG andBig Data.

**A look into the role**

As a Technical Bid Writer within our Digital, RegTech & Data Team, you will:

- Be responsible for producing Quality Bids in response to RFPs, RFIs and RFQs from potential clients
- You will be working with various Business Development Directors and in tandem with our current Bid Content Team
- You’ll be responsible for owning clear communication decisions, working to a corporate-editorial brand and tone with ease and able to tailor every bid you meet
- Creativity is welcome and won’t be drowned out: we’re excited to welcome a curious, imaginative thinker
- Demonstrating flexibility to numerous requests for changes and improvements to our bids.
- Get well acquainted with bid procedures, governance, and processes
- Act as a mentor to the Bid coordinators on guiding writing processes

**Knowing you’re right for us**

Joining us as a Technical Bid Writer, the **minimum criteria **is prior experience of working in a professional services environment where the Business produce bespoke tenders in response to client driven bidding processes.

It would be great if you had some of the following skills, but don’t worry if you don’t tick every box, we’ll help you develop along the way.
- An excellent communicator and demonstrate creativity in writing with a high attention to detail with excellent editing and proofing ability
- Must be a self-starter, able to quickly learn tools, processes and about who Grant Thornton are and more specifically the role and aspirations of the GT Digital, RegTech and Data Team
- Ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot independently
- Proven bid team involvement, industry knowledge is a plus
- Must have the ability to manage escalations and independently collaborate

In addition, it would be an advantage if you can demonstrate effective bid writing skills based on a strong FS sector understanding. Ideally, with a good understanding and appreciation of what digital & data means to the financial services sector at thistime with so much of decision-making being “data driven” and “digital” being the underpinning of the modern economy.
