This is an excellent opportunity for a talented writer to play a key role in securing major projects across transport, civils, and complex infrastructure.The RoleAs Bid Writer, you will be responsible for producing high-quality, compelling written content for major tenders. Working closely with technical SMEs, bid managers, and wider project teams, you’ll translate complex information into clear, persuasive submissions that articulate the organisation’s strengths and value proposition.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and write engaging bid and proposal content for major infrastructure projects.Work collaboratively with subject matter experts to gather information and shape winning narratives.Edit, proofread, and refine technical content to ensure clarity, consistency, and compliance.Support storyboarding and bid strategy sessions.Contribute to continuous improvement of bid processes and content libraries.About You4+ years’ experience in bid or proposal writing, ideally within infrastructure, construction, civil engineering, or related sectors.Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills with strong attention to detail.Ability to translate technical detail into clear, client-focused messaging.Comfortable working under pressure and managing competing deadlines.Collaborative mindset and confidence working with senior stakeholders.What’s on OfferSalary up to £70,000, depending on experienceHybrid working (London office)Opportunity to work on high-profile, industry-leading infrastructure projectsSupportive and ambitious team environment with real scope for progression
