Behaviour Support Practitioner

Motivation in Mainstream is seeking a dedicated and compassionate **Male**to join our team of Behaviour Support Practitioners. In this role, you will work closely with young people who have a wide variety of complex needs, to assess their behavioural support needs and develop tailored support plans that promote positive outcomes. Your responsibilities will include conducting assessments, designing and implementing behaviour support strategies on a 1:1 basis, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Conduct comprehensive behavioural assessments to identify individual needs.
- Develop and implement personalised behaviour support plans.
- Work collaboratively with clients, families, and other professionals to achieve positive behavioural outcomes.
- Provide training and support to staff and caregivers on behaviour management techniques.
- Monitor and review the effectiveness of behaviour support plans, adjusting as necessary.
**Qualifications and Experience**:
- Relevant qualifications in psychology, social work, or a related field (preferred)
- Experience in developing and implementing behaviour support plans.
- Strong understanding of positive behaviour support principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Pay: £16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
