Facilities - Stores Administrator

The Stores Administrator is responsible for ensuring a high quality stores service is delivered whilst ensuring the service promotes patient care. To work within the Trust Facilities Management structure to ensure that the stores and transport service supports the trusts clinical and non-clinical colleagues and ensures it integrates with nursing teams in its provision of care and specifically infection, prevention and control. Key skills here include the ability to work in an effective and efficient manner whilst integrating and supporting the stores and transport services within the clinical teams across the trust.
Critical to the success of the role shall be the providing of a service that is safe, efficient and which delivers quality in a timely manner that promotes the health and well-being of the service users and which is in line with Government Legislation, CQC, PLACE & NHS standards including the HASAWA 1974, WEEE etc. throughout the whole organisation.
The Stores Administrator will support the estates, facilities and clinical teams and the entire trust by ensuring that all orders of supplies e.g. housekeeping or clinical materials are delivered on time.
