**Salary**: £24,921 - £29,874 + 13.5% shift allowance and 14% weekend working.
Do you have a passion for justice and a keen eye for detail? Are you ready to take on a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of crime data?
We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our Crime Management Unit as **CMU Officers**. In this role, you will be responsible for auditing and investigating crime reports, ensuring compliance with national crime recording standards (NCRS) and the Victims Charter.
**Your Key Responsibilities**:
- **Investigative Support**: Provide investigative quality checks and assist officers with crime and non-crime occurrences.
- **Victim Support**: Ensuring officers keep victims of crime updated around their investigation outcome
- **Data Analysis**: Identify trends in local crime to support targeted policing.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with officers, management teams, and external agencies to maintain high standards of crime recording.
**What You’ll Bring**:
- Proven **communication and customer service skills** to ensure a seamless experience.
- Ability to **input, interrogate, and retrieve** data using various computer systems.
- A proactive and collaborative mindset to work as part of a team.
- Decision-making skills with a focus on detail and compliance.
**Desirable but Not Essential**:
- Knowledge of Crime and Incident Records Management Systems (Niche).
- Understanding of NCRS, NSIR, and crime processes.
