It takes a lot of talent and organisation to deliver around 30% of the fresh milk consumed in Britain every day. The Müller Milk & Ingredients Distribution network of depots and modern fleet of vehicles are strategically located to allow us to be efficient in the job that we do and ensures that our milk gets from farm to fridge quicker and fresher.
This is a great opportunity for a Vehicle Maintenance Co-ordinator who enjoys working for a prestigious logistics company, servicing and repairing a modern well maintained fleet of vehicles and who is looking for stability in their life, we offer a set shift pattern.
**Role & Responsibilities**
- Must be aware of and ensure that all legal obligations are met and maintained including H & S and environmental.
- Provide comprehensive and accurate information to his line manager when required
- Be able to deputise for their line manager in their absence.
**Shift Patterns**
- 5 day rota, Monday - Friday
**Key Skills & Experience**
- Must have excellent communication skills and be able to deal with internal and external customers and suppliers
- Relevant experience in a similar role is desirable
- Works well both independently and in a team
- Manages deadlines well and understands how to prioritise a workload
- A positive thinking and self-motivated individual
- An effective team member who works well on their own initiative
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work Qualifications
- Served a recognised training period and possess the appropriate qualifications. (City & Guilds, BTEC, NVQ/SVQ)
. Has a thorough understanding of vehicle scheduling and workshop procedures
- Has a high level of H & S awareness
- Has attained I.R.T.E.C Certification (or is willing to be assessed to this level)
- Must be able to deal with contractors, suppliers and staff on a day to day basis
