Established back in 2009, The Espresso Room is proud to be one of London’s original specialty coffee shop brands. As for the name? Well, it does what it says on the tin - a small room serving up a killer espresso. Since then, we’ve gone onto open a handful of other locations, all unique & somewhat quirky, but always staying true to our roots.

The quality coffee, personable service & creative, fun working environment are at the heart of The Espresso Room and has always made us who we are today. We are a bunch of coffee aficionados trying to figure it out in the big smoke & work out how to get or if we actually need any followers, likes or DM's ;) We see our customers as friends, love the banter & pretty much let them dictate what route the business takes. They’re the reason we keep on doing what we do.

Responsibilities/Skills**:

- Confident at dialling in the grinders & make a banging recipe.
- Open and close-down coffee station independently & teach others how to do so.
- A strong team player, especially keeping things smooth during peak service times.
- Maintain the desired speed of service, quality of coffee & overall customer experience for the brand.
- Be able to train staff
- Help ensure team morale is high & have each other’s back.
- Advanced latte art skills
- Maintain a clean working environment
- Express yourself however you like in terms of dress (or feel free to wear any one of our branded t-shirts/hoodies or help us design your own ;)
- Strong multi-tasking skills, ability to problem-solve with a solutions-driven approach
- Fun work attitude - we try not to see it as work, but a fun place to hang out & serve some amazing coffee while we’re there
- Bonus points for coffee qualifications, kitchen experience, food safety training, social media skills etc.
