**Salary**: £42,315 + depending on experience

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Managing your own contracts in accordance with all the Supply Chain processes and procedures
- Maintaining the required levels of reporting across your team associated with:

- progress in Development and Production phases
- cost management
- spend management
- Supplier Performance Reviews
- schedule delivery performance of data and hardware
- Leading all aspects of Supplier Management including negotiation of contracts, conducting Contract Status Reviews, performance improvements and supplier development activities
- Maintenance and creation of Purchase Orders in SAP & associated purchasing systems
- Facilitating and/or leading the Life Cycle Management (LCM) requirements associated with the work package and that of the team.
- Be accountable for all related Supply Chain activity in line with area of responsibility
- There is an expectation for you to visit supplier sites across the UK

**Your skills and experiences**:
Essential
- Experience of early concept projects
- Excellent Stakeholder Management
- Previous experience of having worked with key strategic suppliers
- Procurement and Project Management Experience

Desirable
- Experience of working within aerospace, defence and/or MOD packages
- Previously held line management responsibility

**The Procurement Leader team**:
As a Procurement Leader, you will be responsible for the delivery of material and services to support Supply Chain requirements, ensuring these are provided within budget, to schedule and in full compliance with the technical and quality requirements across multiple suppliers.
