**Internal Sales Person - Bury St Edmunds, full time**

Kent Blaxill are a family-owned business with twenty two sites across the East of England. We offer paint, timber, glass, ironmongery, tools, landscaping, building supplies and much, much more. We are also known as a leading kitchen and bathroom specialistsince 1963. The showrooms have since built up an enviable reputation for quality and service and they specialise in helping customers find the right products, at a price that suits them best.

**And the role**

Joining as an Internal Sales Person, you will be responsible for developing the builders merchant side of the business by developing relationships with existing and lapsed customers and maximising on opportunities available. Working within a small team (officebased position) there is no cold calling - this is not a call centre role - it’s about developing long term relationships with trade customers in the local area. You will have the opportunity to meet and serve customers when they come into our store so thatyou can develop the relationship even further. You will have a portfolio of clients allocated to you and it is down to you to develop these.

Hours of work: 7.30am - 5pm Monday to Friday and alternate Saturday mornings - 44.5 hours per week. No Sunday working.

**What we’re looking for**

We’re looking for an individual who has a strong customer focus and great communication skills. A driven and motivated person is needed to generate business from the customers - someone with excellent negotiation and closing skills will thrive within thisbusy environment.

Prior knowledge of the builders merchant industry would be a distinct advantage but not essential - a passion for sales is
