**Finance Manager - Part Time ( 3 days a week)**

We are currently looking to recruit a sole role **Finance Manager** on a part time basis (3 days a week) working within a Creative agency that is around 15 staff with a Turnover of around £2M and based in Central London.

**The part time Finance Manager needs to be**:

- Diligent and financially minded
- Demonstrate commercial experience to support the CEO, and the Board in achieving consistent growth to build a profitable and sustainable business.
- Able to manage and maintain the normal accounting functions of the business

**The overall Role of the Part Time Finance Manager**

The position will require you to undertake a variety of accounts and HR duties, including all aspects of the purchase and sales ledger functions, VAT returns, maintain fixed asset registers, cash book reconciliations, balance sheet reviews/reconciliations(including provisions and accruals) etc.; payroll processing; develop/maintain control processes; salary control accounts and the preparation of weekly cash flow forecasts and management accounts preparation.

It will include annual accounting tasks such as budgets, reforecast and annual accounts preparation for the auditors.

The role also covers HR, which includes all aspects of onboarding and offboarding employees, assisting with the administration of matters such as salary increases etc.

Key areas of Responsibilities of the**Finance Manager**
- Day to day running of accounting functions
- Preparation of all analysis and journals on a monthly basis
- Management of purchase and sales ledger and credit control function
- Responsibility for the working capital management and cash flow forecasting
- Acting as an escalation point for the business
- Maintenance of balance sheet reconciliations
- Production of the management accounts (Month, Year To Date, Forecast)
- Responsible for credit checks on customers and suppliers
- Responsibility for maintaining the purchase order system
- Responsible for the employee expenses system
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Preparation of the monthly payroll with the outsourced payroll bureau
- Responsible for the development, input and output of the finance processes
- Maintenance of the HR system and preparing the administration for employees

**Qualifications /Experience**
- Newly qualified ACCA/ACA or QBE accountant
- Previous experience of working in a similar role
- Excel spreadsheet skills.
- Excellent team work and Communication skills.
- Be able to use initiative and challenge existing processes.
- Ability to prioritise workload, have a good eye for detail
- Demonstrate an ability to work in a fast paced creative environment
- Will Ideally have knowledge of Xero
