Role: Finance Manager - Global Cosmetic Brand

Location: Central London

The Role: This opportunity is working for an international and privately owned Cosmetic business with a brilliant brand in the sector and exciting strategy for the future. They are hiring for an exciting Finance Manager opportunity reporting directly tothe Director of Finance. You will be a core member of the wider finance team. This role will be responsible for all high-level North American accounting and to be responsible for the accurate and timely financial management of aspects relating North America.Furthermore, this role will evolve and become a conduit between the business and the finance team where you will spend significant time establishing relationships and providing support to senior management. You will identifying new ways to communicate performanceand providing financial planning and commercial analytical support. Role Responsibilities:

- Managing and monitoring all accounting operations and components of financial management
- Supervising month end and ensuring all bookkeeping and checks are executed and completed timely, adhering to checklists and month end procedures.
- Responsible for US reporting and compliance, ensuring transactions are coded correctly, statutory reports are prepared accurately and filed timely
- Safeguarding assets and accurately recording all transactions by improving and implementing controls and checks
- Improving and updating accounting policies and procedures to ensure all accounting functions are addressed and well documented
- Defining and adhering to operational best practices and training financial staff when needed
- Ensuring all legal and regulatory requirements are being met
- Complying with all local and international laws when it comes to finances, taxes and reporting measures
- Working with cross-functional teams to ensure accounting principles are addressed
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified professional
- Experience working within consumer/retail/cosmetics a preference
- US Reporting experience is a preference but not essential
- An excellent communicator with the ability to tell a story and go beyond the analysis
- Experience working with non-finance staff and ability to explain financial data to them
- Experience using NetSuite, or other analysis tools is desirable but not essential
