Finance Specialists at Scaleup Finance are at the forefront of delivering financial solutions to our clients. Overseeing a portfolio of clients, the role ranges from bookkeeping and bank reconciliations to process optimisation and supporting CFO partners with management accounts.

We're now looking for a **Senior Finance Specialist (With Management)** to help us along our mission to empower Startups with efficient, automated, and transparent financial tools.

In addition to managing their own client portfolio (approximately 50-70% of role) we're looking for an elevated internal impact with this hire.

**Finance Specialist Responsibilities**:
**Client portfolio management**
- Manage own client portfolio and cultivate relationships with large and complex clients.
- Deliver top quality bookkeeping, controlling, reconciliation, journals and other deliverables.
- Supporting the CFO partners with management accounts
- Support our customers concerning questions related to accounting and finance
- Identify new financial and accounting tools that can automate processes for our customers, as well as their implementation

**Management responsibilities**:
**Team leadership & Development**
- Directly manage and mentor Financial Specialists.
- Engage in resource planning, ensuring optimal allocation of clients among Business Unit members.

**Quality Assurance**
- Uphold and enhance the quality of financial services provided by the team.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and instil best practices within the team.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of financial information and other deliverables to the client and CFO partner.

**Customer Satisfaction**
- Monitor and drive the Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) score within the team.
- Address and resolve any client issues or concerns promptly, ensuring high client retention.

**Industry Expertise**
- Build and maintain a repository of industry knowledge that can be leveraged for client benefit.
- Regularly train the team on industry trends, challenges, and opportunities.

**Skills**:

- ** Finance Experience**
- Hands-on expertise in diverse financial tasks, from bookkeeping to controlling. Perhaps you have been in a Management Accountant role or had a growing Finance role at a startup.
- **Tech Leadership**
- Experience and knowledge using and implementing modern cloud-based finance systems
- ** Adaptable Mindset**
- Agile and innovative approach, with or without startup experience.
- ** Communication Skills**
- Strong communicator for conveying financial insights clearly.
- ** Detail-Oriented Efficiency**
- Keen eye for detail, ensuring precision and efficiency in financial tasks.
- ** Management & Mentoring**
- Experience guiding and mentoring team members, fostering growth and collaboration.
