As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Finance Monitoring Officer to join our dynamic team and contribute to our vision.
We are seeking a proactive Finance Monitoring Officer with a keen eye for detail to join our Finance team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of our financial operations. Your responsibilities will include overseeing various financial processes such as payroll processing, asset management, balance sheet reconciliations, and monthly profit and loss analysis. You will ensure compliance with regulatory standards and provide insightful analysis to support strategic decision-making. Your role will be an essential part of the Finance team, ensuring the financial health and transparency of our organisation is consistently maintained.
**Responsibilities**:
- Gather and verify payroll information to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Maintain and manage the company's asset register, ensuring all assets are accurately recorded and accounted for.
- Perform regular reconciliations of balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Conduct detailed monthly profit and loss analysis, providing insights and recommendations to management.
- Prepare and present financial reports to management, highlighting key financial metrics and trends.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations and assist with internal and external audits.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather financial information and provide financial guidance and support.
**Requirements**:
- Experience in gathering and verifying payroll information, ensuring accurate and timely processing, and compliance with relevant laws.
- Proven ability to maintain and audit an asset register, ensuring accurate recording and coordination with departments.
- Strong background in performing regular reconciliations, resolving discrepancies, and preparing detailed reports.
- Experience in conducting monthly P&L analysis, identifying trends, and providing insights to management.
- Skills in reviewing income and expenditure, preparing financial reports, and presenting key metrics to senior management.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, proficiency in financial software, and strong communication abilities.
- AAT qualification (desired), other certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) are advantageous.
