**Finance Business Partner**

Based in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire our client is an exciting and expanding company looking for a qualified accountant to join them as Finance Business Partner to support an autonomous division.

Our client is a dynamic, multidisciplinary consultancy and services provider servicing a wide range of clients in multiple sectors. This would be to work for a £177m division of a £1.3 billion group who have continued to grow through acquisitions doublingin growth over the last 4 years.

This job would suit a CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified accountant with proven post-qualified experience to play a vital role within their finance team.

Duties will include:

- Working alongside the existing and newly acquired businesses, assess the adequacy of the existing financial processes and controls.
- Ongoing management and improvements to cash flow, specifically Work in Progress and Debtors
- Analysis, review and challenge of Management Information, developing a close understanding of the levers of financial performance
- As necessary, implement ways of working, relevant to the size and nature of new acquisitions. This will include the design and execution of an effective month-end close process encompassing key financial controls including balance sheet reconciliations
- Play a vital role in the preparation of the annual budget and ongoing forecasting
- Administration of the capital expenditure approval process
- Help foster relationships between newly acquired teams and their division/ group finance colleagues
- Play a key coordinating role as or when the businesses migrate to core Group systems
- Management and development of Financial Analyst
- Assist in the planning and co-ordination of internal and external audits, ensuring timely responses to audit questions.
