**What’s the purpose of role**:
In this role as Head of Supply Chain and the owner of the Demand Planning function, you’ll collaborate with other departments, such as Operations and Finance, to create effective stock delivery schedules, Material Management & business plans, so teamworkskills are important. You should also have experience in project management, as well as great leadership and communication. Focus on improving the outcomes of various processes so that, by mapping all the inputs and outputs of a defined business process, torecommend ways to improve business systems, efficiency, reduce cost or increase customer satisfaction.

**Who you’ll deal with**:
Internal: Operations, Finance, Commercial & Managed Services

External: Customers, Suppliers & Regulatory Affairs

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Create the company’s supply chain strategy
- Analyse data from shipping and delivering processes to find bottlenecks and other issues Accountable for the management of supplier to Bonded warehouse operations
- Manage, Evaluate and report on KPIs Promote Health and safety (H&S) regulations through best practice across the Supply Chain
- Monitor logistics to make sure they run smoothly Maintain supply chain inventory and records
- Train and guide employees
- Find cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes
- Resolve issues that come up (e.g. delays in delivery, accidents)Collaborate with Operations to design processes that drive efficiency through best practice
- Develop and maintain safety guidelines in all aspects of the supply chain
- Ensure supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards
- Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to land more profitable deals Provide improvement coaching & mentorship
- Focus and support the cultural transformation, whilst involving stakeholders in supporting the improvements
- Serves as a lead role in enabling the business to achieve their objectives through the effective use of technology

**What you’ll have**:

- Previous experience as a supply chain manager or in a similar field
- Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes Highly commercial and analytical
- Working experience of relevant software (e.g. ERP & MM)Strong communication skills
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Attention to detail
- Creative problem-solving
- A strategic and analytical mind
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or similar field Aptitude of Process Mapping & SOP Development
