Applications are invited for two International Recruitment Support Officers on a permanent, full-time basis. The key purpose of these posts are to support the University’s international student recruitment efforts at all levels working as part of the International Office and driving a key function within the institution.

The ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable for these posts.

Applications will also be considered to carry out this role on a part-time or job share basis.

Purpose of the Job

International Office

The key purpose of this post is to support the University’s international student recruitment efforts at all levels working as part of the International Office and driving a key business function within the institution.

Main

**Responsibilities**:

- Support for the International Office in delivering its recruitment targets.
- Assist with the promotion of recruitment possibilities to potential students.
- Advising prospective international students, as well as occasionally liaising with overseas partners and any appropriate National Agencies e.g. (British Council), to ensure the smooth running of the international function.
- To support International Officers in delivering recruitment activities both in the UK and overseas.
- To assist in advising students about the University’s offerings from a recruitment and conversation activity perspective.
- To provide the necessary assessment of student’s qualifications and eligibility to study in the UK in line with UKVI and institutional policies.
- To provide administrative support for the International Office, including supporting financial transactions and relevant international processes, such as facilitating the agreements with partners and agents.
- To provide support in assessing the suitability of students and more widely meeting the entry criteria as outlined by Bangor University.
- Undertake other duties as may be necessary or may be determined from time to time by senior management.
- To keep up to date with relevant international student recruitment regulations and policies.

**Responsibilities**:

- The post holder will be expected to participate in performance review and developmental activities.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with individuals and groups at all levels.- Excellent written communication skills including excellent attention to detail and accuracy.-
- Ability to work with figures accurately.Desirable:

- Project management experience with the ability to problem solve.#- Basic understanding of financial systems.- Budget Monitoring.Work and Relevant Experience

Essential:

- Experience of working independently and as a member of a team.- Experience of office administration.- Experience of giving advice to a range of people.- Experience of using student record systems or other similar corporate information systems.Desirable:
