Working in a team of like-minded and highly skilled Network Engineers, the primary focus for this role is delivery of reliable LAN, WLAN and WAN solutions using a wide range of products from data vendors including: Cisco and Vodafone for one of Vodafone’s largest Enterprise and Global customers.

**What will you be doing?**

A senior customer facing role and owner of the technical design with focus on solutions spanning across connectivity, voice and security. Responsible for providing technical leadership and support to a virtual team of highly skilled professionals and for detailed customer design, development, delivery and test of complex solutions including Software Defined Network, Cloud hosting, Private Networks design and IoT solutions delivering work packages that contribute to success of project delivery across practices.

To be engaged during the latter stages of the pre-sales cycle to provide detailed technical design assurance on complex solution viability and then ensure solution compliance throughout delivery, only exiting once the solution is accepted into operation by the customer services organisation and warranty support period expired. Utility sector experience preferable.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Technical accountability and leadership of the virtual team responsible for the detailed design, development, delivery, and test of multi-million-pound complex customer solutions working alongside the Programme Manager providing assurance and governance for technical components of the solution.
- Low level discovery of existing solution components and owner of the transition from existing to proposed solution including creation of High Level Design / integrated design and statement of requirements on behalf of the Solution Integration team
- Owner of the Solution Integration statement of work which translates the high-level design and requirements into detailed technical deliverables, identifying the risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies for submission into the Programme risk register
- Technical risk/issue ownership and management/resolution during solution design and delivery.
- Operate the Solution Integration governance processes and to hold internal and external technical teams to account.
- Key deliverables include: Low Level design documentation, Deployment / Migration plan, Testing plan, Integrated solutions design.

**Who are we looking for?**
- CCNP Enterprise
- SDN - Design, Deliver and deploy certification
- Knowledge of Cloud solutions, AWS, MPN and IoT technology solutions
- Knowledge of firewalls and other security solutions.
