**Role purpose**:
This role will provide technical and architectural expertise for the Edge Domain within Vodafone UK. You will be the Lead TDA in driving technical compliance & standards of excellence for the platform. You will provide the technical vision and strategic roadmap for the domain in conjunction with IT Architecture team and act as mentor to junior analysts in the team.

The role includes working with business stakeholders to review requirements and change requests, engaging with major suppliers such as BT Openreach/ BT Wholesale as well as Ofcom and keeping up to date with current and future industry changes. You will understand the impacts of these changes and ensure the platform designs and road map is aligned to meet with the change demands.
You will provide impact assessments, conceptual designs and approve high level technical designs to 3rd Party vendors/integrations through all stages of the development cycle.

**What will you be doing?**
- Carry out impact assessment for new demands within SLAs and provide consultancy to IT Solution Architects during High Level Design phase.
- Provide Technical Leadership to Edge Domain projects by providing conceptual designs, and approving HLD. Driving suppliers to provide generic and flexible design proposals for all solutions with maximum re-use.
- Promote & review quality assurance and overall integrity of project deliveries through the platform

**Who are we looking for?**
- You will have a degree educated preferably in an IT related discipline
- You will have strong integration background, preferably using tools like Software AG web Methods
- You will have use of various open-source frameworks, for example Spring Boot, Angular, Django
- You will have experience of broadband integration with various Communication Providers
- You will have knowledge of telecoms products and services
- You will have a understanding of cloud hosting
- You will have a understanding of agile
