IT Poject Manager - £40,000 - £60,000 per annum

This would be an ideal opportunity for an individual who posseses a good understanding of technologies such as Microsoft Operating Systems and Applications, Cisco, Active Directory, Office365, Data Centres, Large scale Storage and Server hosting solutionsand Network LAN, WAN and Security.

As a IT Project Manager you will be:

- Defining, documenting and safely executing IT change projects, or sub-projects - actively participating in all phases whilst identifying, assessing and managing risks and issues which might impact on the success of the project
- Creation of Business Cases for project finance approval and authorisation
- Estimating costs, timescales, and resource requirements for the successful delivery of projects to agreed terms of reference
- Preparing and maintaining realistic project schedules and quality plans - tracking all activities against them
- Ensuring that projects are formally closed and subsequently reviewed - ensuring that lessons learned are captured, actioned, and reported for dissemination towards organisational learning and improvement
- Providing regular and accurate reports to senior management and client/users as appropriate through informal and formal meetings
- Monitoring costs, timescales and resources and taking action where these deviate from agreed tolerances
- Providing advice and guidance on individual project proposals and plans
- Managing the change control procedure, gaining authorisation for revisions from project sponsors and other stakeholders as appropriate

Desirable qualities include:

- Exceptional project management acumen and experience of successfully managing IT projects of varying nature and scale, together with outstanding leadership skills.
- Highly skilled with information and communications technology and have a good general knowledge of relevant Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
