Please note that this is a trainee position and therefore anyone with more than six months professional experience working as a software tester or who holds an ISTQB foundation certificate will be eligible, but you will need to commit to continuing you Software Testing training.

PSP is a digital agency based in Spalding, Lincolnshire, who focus heavily on design, rebranding, website and bespoke software development as well as legacy system support and maintenance. We have a wealth of industry experience, unique software solutions and services. Our customers range from law, education, local councils and manufacturing to list a few.

We are seeking an enthusiastic trainee systems software tester to join our growing team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Design simple test strategies for non-complex projects
- Analyse test requirements and designs and prepare simple test plans
- Accurately record the outcomes of test activities and maintain accurate test records and reports
- Present and communicate results effectively using appropriate communication styles and media
- Complete allocated tasks in accordance with the organisation’s reporting and quality system

**Technical Competencies (either experience or demonstrable knowledge)**

Ideally, you’ll have some limited understanding of software testing through your previous academic studies, from testing your own personal coding projects or from getting involved in activities where users are part of the testing and QA process.

**Essential qualifications**
- 7 GCSE’s (or equivalent) at grades 9-4 or A-C including maths and English
