We are looking for someone to be part of a busy team, who works confidently and efficiently, demonstrating a helpful, courteous, professional and sensitive manner at all times.

You will project an efficient, helpful and friendly manner when dealing with patients, carers, medical staff and other service users, both face to face and over the telephone.

Experience of dealing with members of the public is key. You will be an effective team player and have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills. You will be able to work independently to a high standard and have excellent IT skills.

Your core working hours will be 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday and some 8.00am starts or 5.00pm finishes on a rota basis.

Full training will be provided.
- To work in partnership with the children’s community service teams to ensure referral pathways are followed, communicating with education, health and social care, statutory and voluntary organisations.
- To deal with queries, take detailed messages and respond to them or refer them to the relevant member of the multi disciplinary team in a timely manner as defined in the agreed referral management protocols.
- To support clinical teams to collect data from IT systems.
- To provide a high quality administrative service to locality teams.
- To facilitate effective communication and liaison across professional organisational boundaries.
- To support clinicians in collating information for audit purposes.
- To maintain the archiving process for medical records.
- To input and maintain databases of key data ie EHCP reports.
- To maintain both electronic and manual filing systems.
