**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Checking, Approval and Data inputting of Sales, Purchases, company credit card and other accounting transactions.
- Preparation and posting payments and receipts for suppliers and customers.
- Credit Control.
- Managing client queries and telephone calls.
- Ad-hoc admin support to the Payroll & Accounting team.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring all information is up-to-date and organised.
- Utilise Google Suite for document creation and spreadsheet management.
- Handle clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents as required.
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Answer phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Assist in the management of financial records including invoicing and expense tracking.

**Skills**
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good attention to detail
- Proficient in administrative functions and familiar with office protocols.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Competent IT user, office packages including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Competent in data entry with a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy.
- Very good current working knowledge of SAGE 50
- Finance and Administration Experience of at least 3 years is desirable
- Excellent clerical skills, including typing proficiency and document management.
- Professional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for effective communication within the team and with external contacts.

This is a very busy role, attention to detail is essential, as is flexibility.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £15.25 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
