Senior Accounts Payable Officer

**Annual salary of £28,000 per annum (FTE)**: - ** Permanent role**: - ** Full-time, part-time and flexible working patterns available**: - ** Liverpool city centre office base with opportunities for agile / home working** **The role** As a Senior Accounts Payable Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining the groups accounts payable ledger service. This will involve ensuring the account payables invoices are processed and payments are made within a timely manner to our suppliers. You will also be assisting the Transactional Services Manager with ledger controls and stepping into assist with queries and budget holder information requests. **The right fit** - Significant experience of working in an Purchase/Sales ledger environment - Ideally AAT Qualified or part qualified. Or 2 years minimum experience in an AP role. - Strong IT skills including intermediate Excel skills (Pivot Tables/Lookups) essential - Previous experience of using and reporting on an Purchase ledger/accounting system - Awareness of risk and associated policies to ensure that procedures are followed, and risk is managed appropriately. - Excellent communication skills and proven customer service experience skills - People-management skills, including ability to communicate complex issues, influence, negotiate etc. - An adaptable, experienced AP person with experience in a fast-paced environment is desirable. **Who we are** We regenerate places and work with people to create the opportunities they need to thrive.
