We have an exciting, innovative and unique role within our RISE Early Help Service. The role will be based within our Mental Health in Schools Team offer, which was part of a successful trailblazer program stemming from the green paper in 2017. Two years on, we now have four Mental Health in Schools Teams across Coventry and Warwickshire, consisting of a range of professionals including, Cognitive Behavioural Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, Mental Health Nurses and Education Mental Health Practitioners all delivering evidence-based interventions across a stepped approach.

As an experienced EMHP, CWP or CBT Therapist with a desired 2-year experience, you will hold a caseload of individuals with mild to moderate mental health needs providing a low or high intensity CBT intervention dependent on your training.

As a Senior Mental Health Practitioner, you will also bring your expertise to the clinical supervision element of the role, where you will clinically supervise Education Mental Health Practitioners and trainee’s. You will also take a lead in Whole School Approach; linking in with those schools who are struggling to engage and supporting the EMHP allocated to that school. You will bring creativity to service development, influencing our clinical offer and resources.

We are seeking applicants who are passionate about working with children and young people, families, education staff and the wider school community to provide evidence-based and innovative support for emotional wellbeing and mental health.

You will be joining an experienced team with CBT at its core, offering you a learning environment to grow and develop through group supervision and CPD opportunities.
