Here at Peters Dean care we are currently looking for dynamic, passionate, and driven Residential support workers to join our team based in New Milton. This is part of our team dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing environment to children and young people so that they can flourish in their day-to-day lives.
This is an exciting time to become part of a real team who really value and care about the day-to-day support for these young people and children within the residential setting. As a Support worker, you will be part of a team contributing to the encouragement of each young person’s daily life, teaching life skills and promoting each young persons independence.

What we are looking for:
- Motivated, energetic individuals with relevant experience either from within care settings such as Care Assistant, Care Worker or Support Worker roles, or other roles supporting vulnerable young people such as Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or similar.
- Able to handle challenging behaviours.
- Passion and drive to support children and young people to make a real difference with their lives.
- Be able to support children through both good and difficult times.
- Able to work both independently and in a team.
- Flexible with working to a residential care rota, which includes evenings, weekends, and holiday periods.
- Be compassionate and caring.
- Support and contribute to the day-to-day running of the home.
- Desire to support young people towards independent living.
- Must hold a UK Driving License
We are looking for support workers or healthcare assistants who can commit to 40 hours per week on a shift rota pattern with 2-3 sleeps per month approx.
Every child has 1:1 support during the day to help with consistency in their lives and form positive behaviours and attachments with adults.

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
