Are you passionate about delivering excellent customer service and supporting Derby residents to access employment, skills, and adult learning opportunities? Join our dynamic team at Derby City Council’s Employment, Skills & Adult Learning Service as an Adult Learning Assistant (Administration).

In this key front-facing role, you’ll deliver high-quality administrative support while offering a warm welcome to learners, visitors, and staff across our centres and other venues. You’ll be part of a busy, supportive team working across multiple sites, helping adults and young people take their next steps in learning, training, or employment.

An awareness of financial processes and regulations would be beneficial, as the role may include managing the ordering of, and financial processing of orders and invoices.

This position is full time, working flexibly across a variety of Derby city locations to support our Employment, Skills and Adult Education Service. Working hours are usually Monday-Friday 8.45am to 4.45pm however, there may be a need to occasionally work outside of these times. This role is not suitable for hybrid (home) working.
