**About The Role**
As our Content Advisor (Digital) you will be responsible for the design and continuous improvement of the digital learning experience for Cadent’s blended programmes through a process of performance consulting that ensures all learning interventions are measurable and aligned to Cadent business plan and objectives.
**What we ask of you**
- Create highly effective bitesize blended learning content such as:
- Video and Infographics that can be used as learning resources to help people in their day-to-day jobs
- System Simulations to guide people safely through systems and processes
- Interactive video and e-learning courses that can be deployed on Cadent’s LMS and other social learning platforms (e.g. the Depot, Yammer, SAP Jam etc)
- Good User/Learner Experience (UX/LX)
- A firm understanding of current Instructional and Experience Design principles and methodologies to design, develop, implement and evaluate various digital learning solutions
- Ensure the Learning team are kept up to date with new and best in class approaches to blended learning content development, and the related use of technology to support learning and to meet the needs of the modern learner
Consultancy
- Provide expert advice and guidance on blended learning content development practices and approaches to the Learning Team and stakeholders across Cadent
- Proactively promote the learning offerings across Cadent
- Create and maintain strong working relationships at all levels across the organisation to promote the reputation and effectiveness of the learning and development and wider HR function, continually ensuring that plans meet our commercial objectives
- Evolve the way digital learning is produced, in which formats and how it is referenced/deployed/built upon throughout the learning journey
- Ensure the end products are coherent, easy to use, engaging, and achieve learning objectives and a feeling of being on a guided journey - as well as governance in terms of quality control, accuracy/relevance checking (with SMEs) and updating
Learning Content Development
- Provide a professional service to Cadent, managing the end-to-end life cycle for digital content development
- Design and develop learner experience programmes, modules and materials including virtual learning, blended learning, interactive webinars, videos and motion graphics, facilitator guides, practice, review and resource materials.
- Lead the design conversations collaboratively within the design pool and with stakeholder clients
- Articulate the differences to stakeholders between MVP (Minimum Value) and MLP Minimum Loved Products) to ensure developed products and timely, appropriate and within budget
- Refine and evolve designs to ensure high impact, creative interventions
- Support Cadent in building and developing a library of core and bespoke content
- Have a focus on continuous improvement and work with feedback to ensure learning offerings are kept up to date with requirements
Research and Development
- Keeping in touch with the latest learning technology and trends and reviews best practice in learning from other organisations and industry bodies
- Collating feedback and suggestions for improvement
- Cross skilling, documenting and sharing best practice
Governance
- Ensure the quality and functionality of content through structured and detailed quality assurance and testing
- Establish and maintain SLAs and overall governance for standards of blended learning content within the learning content development team
- Work with the Learning Team to analyse blended learning content uptake, standards and user feedback to identify and implement improvements.
**What You’ll Bring**
- Strong experience in Learning Experience Design with expertise in designing and developing training materials for virtual environments
- Advanced skills in the use of:
- Industry Standard Authoring tools - Articulate 360 Suite, Elucidat, GoMo, Adapt, Synapse
- Learning Videos and interactive content using industry standard client tools - Camtasia, Snagit
- Knowledge of SaaS-based services - Powtoons and Vyond
- Experience using rich media tools such as Adobe Creative Suite
- The ability to work with and maintain effective relationships with various design functions within different teams
- Strong working knowledge of virtual learner experience design and excellent knowledge of Adobe
