**SENIOR HR ADVISOR**

We are currently seeking a full time Senior HR Advisor to join the Redwing Team. As we continue to see growth in our HR Consultancy specialising in Day Nurseries, Pre-schools and Out of School Clubs we also need to grow the team. We are based in Redditch,Worcestershire and the role is office based.

The role is 37.5 hours per week, 7.5 hour days, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. with a 30 minute unpaid lunch.

The Role:
As an experienced, commercially focussed and practical Senior HR Advisor you will be required to:

- Provide advice and guidance on a range of employee relations issues including complex discipline, capability, long term sickness and grievance matters.
- Support and coach clients with restructures and change management projects, including redundancies, TUPE and mergers.
- Maintain our CRM.
- Undertake any HR project work in a planned, organised and systematic way, ensuring the advice we give is accurate and best serves the client.
- Design and deliver training solutions to our clients and prospects.
- Monitor developments in employment law and HR best practice to support the team and to be communicated to our clients, and prospects via social media.

You will:

- Be qualified to a minimum of CIPD Level 5, ideally Level 7 or working towards.
- Possess a minimum of 5 years’ employee relations experience.
- Be fantastic at managing your time and keeping your promises.
- Be up to date with employment law and HR best practice.
- Understand 'Safeguarding’ and our responsibility in the safeguarding of children who attend the Early Years’ settings we support.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to present.
- Be able to demonstrate a track record of 'thinking on your feet’ and not reading a 'script'.
- Be able to demonstrate that you understand the practicals needs of a small business.
- Be confident in talking to managers/business owners about their query on the phone.
- Be comfortable with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
- Be comfortable working independently and using initiative to make decisions.
- Be a team player who enjoys working in a small team where we have fun as well as work hard.
