**About the Role**

To ensure the business is accurately recording, authorising and paying for purchases and other associated costs

**Key Responsibilities of a Purchase Ledger Clerk**
- Process invoices through the system
- Matching of delivery notes and orders
- Working with departments to clear queries
- Work to resolve issues with GRNI
- Chasing for authorisations and ensuring invoices are ready for payment
- Supplier statement reconciliation
- Ensure that transactions are posted accurately and in a timely manner
- Any additional tasks as requested by Management
- Month end

**Skills Required**:

- Experience in a Finance / Admin role
- Competent Excel skills essential
- Keen eye for detail and accuracy
- Ability to work to strict deadlines
- Experience of SAP ideal but not essential as full training is given
