**Management Accountant | £35,000-£40,000 | Bradford | Permanent**
A successful, growing group operating within the construction sector with offices in Bradford has a need for a Management Accountant in a hands-on role due to business growth.
Working closely with the Divisional Financial Controller, you will work within a close-knit team to ensure the day-to-day finances are completed in a varied and fulfilling role.
**As Management Accountant your duties / responsibilities will include**:

- Production of the monthly management accounts for review by the FC.
- Providing full Balance Sheet reconciliations.
- Maintaining all aspects of stock relating to the management accounts including GRNI, adjustments & provisions.
- Responsibility for supplier & customer rebates.
- Updating the control accounts, including the calculation of accruals and prepayments.
- The vehicle registers and any associated costs.
- Manage the day-to-day processing of trade loans and import payments.
- Mentor and support the purchase ledger team effectively.
- Implement a consistent appraisal programme, monitoring shortfalls in performance and taking the required action where applicable.
- Negotiate payment terms with suppliers.
- Prepare and submit the annual P11D submissions.
- Completion & submission of the quarterly VAT returns.
- Assist with the year-end audit.
- Provide support and cover to the wider team, and to input into adhoc projects when required.
- Work at any of the sites as directed by a Manager.
- Ensure responsibility for self and others with regards to Health & Safety.
- Carry out any reasonable request that may be asked of you by any member of Management.

The role requires a part/fully qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) or qualified by experience with a thorough, robust, proactive approach and the ability to work well within team.Experience of working in a construction / manufacturing business wouldalso be beneficial.
