Office Administrator

**Administrations**:
- Answering telephones as first point of contact, dealing with queries or re-directing as appropriate.
- To support with incoming training enquires and managing course bookings including joining instructions and follow on communication
- Administrate the home building skills card when applicant cards aren’t automatically processed
- Booking retrofit assessment, pulse testing service and remediation appointments with homeowners and maintain the assessor calendars
- Maintaining filing systems (manual and electronic).
- General administration support.
- Handling inbound and outbound post.
- Operate in a manner that is consistent with good Health and Safety practice and does not present hazards to others.
- Any other duties reasonably expected by your Line Manager
- Photocopying of documentation.
- Any other duties reasonably expected by your Line Manager.
**Improvements and Change**:
- Follow all IAA CS Procedures and processes relevant to own role. Identify when changes and updates are required, raising these promptly with line manager
- When required, lead and take responsibility for projects and making change happen, overcome barriers and ensure objectives are achieved
- Develop and write work instructions and procedure when required
**Communication/Relationships**:
- Communicate and work closely with managers and colleagues, building a team which supports each other IAA CS goals
- Act as mentor and trainer to colleagues which required to do so
- Participate to team meetings, contribute ideas and suggestion to develop CIGA/IAA products and customer service
- Keep up to date with new development and changes at The IAA CS
- Support IAA CS goals and business objectives
**Knowledge, Skills and experience**:
- Good telephone manner.
- IT literate with excellent keyboard skills, Experience of using MS Office programmes and databases.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Able to work under pressure, organise and set priorities to meet deadline whilst remaining responsive, calm and attentive to client needs.
- Flexible and willing to work autonomously within set competences when circumstances require.
- Can work independently and as part of a team.
- Proven track record working within an administrative role.
- Good standard of education and IT Literate

- To undergo training and development in line with the needs of the business
- To assist with other duties within the scope and nature of position
**Job Type**: Permanent
