Our client is looking for an experienced Digital/Website Designer to join their 18 head team and hit the ground running, picking up a wide variety of work from the initial skeleton wireframes through to end-product designs. You would be working on projectsacross a range of industries all varying in size from food & drink, retail, health and pet, so being creative and enthusiastic across these is essential to succeed in the role. Whilst the role will be a blend of both UX and UI design, your main focus wouldbe on the UI/visuals side of website design through from typography to ensuring the design works across various interfaces. Hence, the role requires a solid understanding of web design strategy and techniques.

As well as the above, your main responsibilities would consist of the following:

- Produce high-fidelity designs that are ready to be handed over to the development team.
- Liaise with clients to understand their wants and needs from their website.
- Communicate closely with other members of the team to ensure a universal understanding of project requirements.
- Design sitemaps, user flows and navigation whilst ensuring accessibility and usability are kept in centre focus.
- Working towards deadlines and project milestones as outlined by your Project Managers.
- Experience and confidence using various UI design tools such as Figma and Adobe XD. Additional experience of ECommerce systems (Wordpress, CMS, Shopify) would be good but is not essential.
- The ability to design at varying scales, creating design systems with modular, component-based designs
- Confidence when communicating with clients and developers.
- The ability to work as part of a team working towards a shared end goal.
