Cross Resourcing are working in partnership with our leading client, an Edinburgh based Accountancy Firm, to recruit a Payroll Associate to join their team for a period of 12 months.

Payroll Manager

**Location**

Edinburgh

**Salary**

Up to £26,000 DOE

**Role Purpose**

You will manage your own portfolio of clients ensuring the highest level of service processing payroll from end to end. You will also be responsible for completing payroll reviews and all technical tasks involved.

**Role Responsibilities**
- Working with your own portfolio of clients you will process payroll from start to finish
- Prepare weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls for a wide range of clients
- Manage pension auto-enrolment and any additional responsibilities relating to payments
- Manage any payroll issues, liaising with your clients to ensure this is rectified ASAP
- Carry out payroll reviews before final issue
- Develop lasting relationships with clients
- Work with other departments internally to achieve company objectives
- Additional administrative duties when required

**Key skills**
- **Strong background and experience in a payroll role, ideally within practice**:

- **Bureau experience desirable**:

- **Knowledge and experience running complex payrolls**:

- A strong planner, highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks
- Strong stakeholder management skills both internal and external
- Highly motivated, willing to go above and beyond
- Strong attention to detail and highly organised
- Excellent problem-solving skills
