If the above statements are true, The Supply Room are on the search for a number of Learning Support Assistants to join their team. Here at The Supply Room, we work closely with several secondary schools across the Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole area that are on the search for Learning Support Assistants to join their team.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you’ll be providing support for students presenting with SEN, providing the extra support in the classroom they require. These are full-time ongoing positions, so availability Monday to Friday between the hours 8:30am to 3:30pm is essential to be considered. These times can differ dependent on the individual school and their requirements.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you’ll be responsible for creating and ensuring a positive learning environment for students of all abilities. You’ll be working under direction of the in-class teacher, assisting in the planning and resourcing of learning activities. You’ll be confident and pro-active in the classroom, building positive relationships with staff and students.

Experience as a LSA previously would be beneficial, but relevant transferable skills will be accepted. For example, previous nursery work, outdoor activity leaders, school club volunteers, health and social work and other relevant experience. You will need an understanding of SEND and the passion to provide support for students displaying these needs.

**Salary**: £80.00-£90.00 per day
