The Role:
Responsible for the administrative processes associated with raising Purchase requests/Purchase orders to support the global operations and Great Yarmouth base.
In addition, the role will be supporting the rest of the warehouse with their daily duties.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide purchase order support for the stores teams with the following:
- Logistics, workshop & purchasing.
- Following up on orders with delivery updates.
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders.
- Maintain the purchase order delivery notes on Sharepoint system.
- Maintain accurate records, filing & compiling reports as required.
- Liaise with accounts payable on supplier issues.
- Update and maintain goods receipt and purchases within business software.
- Support other roles as directed such as checking, packing and unpacking shipments, stock counting, signing delivery notes, issuing stock to the workshop team.
- Maintain high standards at all times with regards to health and safety.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Competent in all aspects of Microsoft office with a high level of computer literacy.
- A good knowledge of English grammar with good interpersonal skills.
- You will need to be able to self-motivate and time manage various workloads.
- Experience with CRM and business management software.
- Experience in Business Administration/Data Input.
- Previous warehouse experience or working in a stores environment.
- Able to demonstrate the ability to manage inventory, organise stock, and maintain accurate records.
- You will need attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inventory management and data entry.
- Organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members and other departments.
- The ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving stock.
- The ability to identify and resolve issues related to inventory discrepancies and stock management.
- Able to work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve common goals.
