Our client, a leading Oil and Gas supplier company based in Great Yarmouth are currently seeking a Warehouse and Materials Operative to join their busy team.
- Do you have forklift license?
- Are you used to working in a warehouse environment?
- Do you have experience using SAP software?

If so, this could be the role for you

This is a full-time permanent role working 45 hours per week over Monday to Friday with a 45-minute paid break.

Working as part of the Materials and Warehouse team, you will be responsible for all aspects of Material Co-ordination and warehouse operations, whilst maintaining accurate information within SAP. You will work within site guidelines, maintaining housekeepingprocedures, including H&S.

**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Present a positive image of the company through first class service delivery and customer engagement.
- Support all warehouse functions including Receipts, Dispatch and Inventory, inclusive of stock counts.
- Correctly store materials to minimise the possibility of damage or deterioration.
- Ensure orders for material repairs are properly and promptly actioned and despatched in accordance with procedures, and that SAP is updated accordingly.
- Input, create, including shipping manifests, retrieve and report data using the SAP system, ensuring accuracy and appropriate presentation style
- Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and suggest improvements/changes to the process where required.
- Maintain housekeeping standards within the warehouse and operating areas.
- Ensure Global/Standard Operating Procedures and HSEQ guidelines are complied with at all times.
- Liaise with customers, offshore facilities and other internal departments regarding materials movement.
- Ensure the safe use of forklifts and lifting equipment, including loading/unloading of vehicles in line with Training and Operating Procedures and HSEQ standards.
- Ensure all site health and safety requirements are adhered to, including PPE.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with customers, colleagues and vendors to support all aspects of our client's operation.
- Must be flexible regarding working additional hours as required due to operational requirements and be available to work at other locations.
- Ability to work stand-alone while a positive contributor to the wider team.
- Understanding clients' needs and ensuring that all materials required for a work order are completed, this can include approaching vendors to retrieve quotations and liaising with clients
- Raise Work Permits & Purchase requisitions for site services and materials
