An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the London Workforce and Intelligence team as a workforce officer to work with the workforce planning leads to support a wide range of planning, data and intelligence activities.

You will work as part of a team which delivers a portfolio of activities focused on London’s workforce planning & intelligence priorities. You will work closely with national and regional workforce planning & intelligence colleagues within HEE, whilst you will also be supporting programmes that have close working links to NHSE/I and ICS colleagues across London. This is a great opportunity to directly support the workforce planning & intelligence agenda across London utilising key analytical and communication skills, working closely with a team of workforce planning & intelligence specialists.

As a Workforce Officer you be responsible for ensuring that monitoring systems and processes are in place to ensure the successful development/implementation of a range workforce work streams that support national priorities for the NHS workforce.

The post holder will be responsible for processes and monitoring systems that ensure the successful development/implementation of a range projects that support national priorities for the NHS workforce.

The post holder will be responsible for providing high level workforce reporting and administrative support to the team including meetings management, report writing and research and analytical activities.

The post holder should have excellent communication skills with the confidence and credibility to liaise with a range of stakeholders. A flexible approach to workload management is essential.

Salary Progression
Applicants will commence at the bottom of Band 6 with a full-time starting salary of £38,768, with pay step increases after 2 years’ service and 5 years’ service.
