**About the role**

We put the wellbeing of our colleagues first, and as our Health and Safety Officer you’ll be responsible for all of our health and safety strategies, policies and procedures. You’ll provide expert guidance to our office and branch locations in Yorkshire and the South and embed a vibrant and positive H&S culture.

That means carrying out fire risk assessments and DSE assessments, liaising with regulatory authorities, making sure mandatory learning is up to date, and investigating and reporting on near misses.

It’s also about being the first point of contact for all health and safety issues, while guiding our Senior Leadership team and attending a health and safety forum with colleagues from across the business.

Away from the day to day you’ll also get the opportunity to support key projects, contractor audits as well as working closely with the wider property team.

This role location is flexible with home working, you will need to spend one day a week at Yorkshire Drive, Bradford as well as travel to sites across the UK (Yorkshire to the South) to our retail network branches to carry out health and safety visits.
