Nolan Seafoods are part of IFC Holdings, also comprising of International Fish Canners, Nor-Sea Foods, D&G Nolan and J Charles Seafoods operating out of 4 sites in the North-East of Scotland (Aberdeen City and Fraserburgh). It produces a variety of seafood products including Mackerel, Sardines, Herring and Whitefish for a range of UK and international customers.

We are actively recruiting a White Fish Procurement & Sales Coordinator for Nolan Seafoods, based at our site on Craigshaw Drive, Aberdeen.

What you’ll do:

- Procurement of fish from the market.
- Drive Company car to and from each market allowing others to make and receive calls
- Organise transport to uplift fish from market.
- Oversee and support the buying team from market experience.
- Provide holiday cover for other members of the procurement/sales team.
- Support in production as and when necessary to fulfil orders.
- Compile daily dispatch prices for white fish.
- Quote customers for select white fish and salmon on a daily basis.
- Consistently check stock, ensuring there is enough for daily fresh orders and communicate with sales team in ensure no-one oversells.
- Liaise with the production team to ensure they are working at capacity and assist with any issues.
- Assist with production as and when required.
- Issue orders internally amongst departments and communicate any changes or special requests. Communication.
- Liaise with management/sales/production team on a regular basis as necessary.

What you’ll need:

- Previous experience of the procurement and sale of White Fish, preferable but not essential.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- Comfortable working and communicating with staff of all levels and abilities.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Full and clean Drivers Licence.
