**Reporting Visualisation Specialist**
Siemens Financial Services (SFS) is looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join the UK Data Team based in Stoke Poges. You will be responsible for working within the SFS UK Data Team to deliver user-centric, intuitive, self-serve data reporting solutions, whilst ensuring a cohesive and comprehensive user experience.
The UK Data Team is an energetic team with strong business and industry knowledge. We support the UK business with a wide breadth of operational, management and strategic reporting requirements, from initial specification through to delivery and maintenance.
Our team partner with HQ data teams based in Germany, as well as digital innovation teams across Siemens Financial Services and the wider Siemens business to help shape the digital future of the organisation and enhance the customer journey.
**What part will you play**
- Develop visualisation design standards in line with company branding and visual design best practice
- Review, evaluate and improve the user experience of existing reports
- Thought leadership in delivering intuitive, attractive, and interactive data reports to a wide range of users across the business. Actively research new technologies, software, and design principles to identify, propose and progress improvements in the team’s deliverables.
- Identifying the underlying question(s) to be answered in a data request and work closely with requestors to determine how information will be analysed and utilised.
- Develop and organise report/visualisation content to provide the best structure for reports with intuitive navigation and ‘story telling’.
- Design, develop, and implement leading-edge analytic reporting, taking complex problems or requests and building simple intuitive visualisations that focus on the end user experience.
**What will you bring to the role**
- 5 years of demonstrated experience in creating and implementing professional business visualisations.
- Comprehensive understanding of databases, data structures and query languages (SQL essential).
- Experience with Tableau is essential, other BI tools such as Power BI would be beneficial.
- Proficient with visual design best practices including creation and implementation of standards.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively and efficiently.
- Creative with passion for visual analytics. Change orientated and self-motivated with a proven record of delivering exceptional, intuitive, and professional standard visualisations.
- Team orientated with collaborative mentality, confident in presenting findings and comfortable with challenging the status quo. A ‘can-do’ attitude with a logical, detail orientated and curious nature.
