Overview

This is an opportunity to learn and grow into a unique job role surrounded by a focused and select marketing team, where you will be engaging in various marketing campaigns that will improve our visibility and brand presence within our industry, ultimately attracting new business for the company. The Marketing Assistant will be involved from concept through to creation and with the support of the team you will assist in a variety of marketing activities from social media, digital and online strategy to reporting, analytics and onsite event initiatives.

Required
- Marketing Degree or similar field
- Microsoft Office skills as mentioned but not limited to - Excel, Word, Outlook
- The ability to manage multiple projects at once whilst staying organised.
- Suited to someone with creativity and analytical ability.
- UK Driving Licence
- Be willing to continuously learn and stay up to date as digital marketing tools advance, SEO, Google and social algorithms update and advertising standards adapt.
- Have a passion for staying up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and changes in line with our business.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferable
- Ideally have experience within current social media channels as such as Instagram, Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), You Tube, TikTok.
- You should be familiar with various digital marketing such as Mail Chimp, Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Adobe Creative Suite, Text Local or similar.

The role:

- With support from management develop our social media strategy across all brands with delivery of unique content relevant to the platform. This includes creating digital assets for digital advertising and social media use in the form of video and imagery for all but not limited to key channels Instagram, Facebook, X (formerly Twitter) and You Tube with a view to expand on to further platforms relevant to our industry with the aim to increase engagement, presence, and to convert and retain business.
- Develop, execute, and deploy PPC (Pay Per Click) campaigns across various digital platforms, particularly Google Ads. This includes keyword research, bid conducting market and competitor research whilst finding new opportunities
- Track, measure, and analyse all marketing, producing regular insightful reports evaluating our digital campaign success using performance and analytical tools.
- Conducting regular website content reviews, administration and, onboarding tasks to maximise the full potential of our websites for the benefit and growth of the company working with the Head of Brand and Marketing to find solutions and see through to completion.
- Work closely with the Marketing team to generate ideas, strategize and deliver on time sensitive campaigns.
- Working with our Editor to copywrite engaging E-Newsletters, advertising campaigns, blog content, and social media captions using relevant software for distribution and creating relationships with brands to collect information.
- Assist with event management from concept to completion as well as attending industry events and where required assist with build and break down job roles/ as well as on the day member engagement and pre, during and post event social media creation.
