Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to join our dynamic team until Christmas. You will help bring all of our marketing activity up to date, with email and social media activity, assist in defining the marketing plan for the next 12 months and help us summarise key metrics for regular monitoring.

Duties

  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns across multiple platforms, including social media, email marketing on B2B channels.
  • Manage social media accounts by scheduling posts, engaging with followers, and analysing engagement metrics.
  • Support the optimisation of website content using SEO best practices.
  • Create targeted copy for marketing materials, advertisements, and social media content.
  • Coordinate with contacts and internal staff on tasks to ensure timely delivery of campaigns.
  • Maintain organised records of marketing activities using project monitoring software and Microsoft Excel.

This role requires strong organisational skills, an eye for detail, the ability to adapt quickly and a passion to help a small business deliver a cohesive marketing strategy.

This is a temporary role until Christmas, there maybe the opportunity to continue with this part time on a longer basis.

Marketing experience is preferred, but if you've demonstrated similar skills in an alternate role and have a passion for marketing we would like to hear from you.

Job Type: Temporary

Contract length: 5 weeks

Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Stoke-on-Trent
