**About us**
The Countess of Brecknock Hospice Trust is a small charity with big ambitions. We raise funds and awareness to support the services and staff of the Countess of Brecknock Hospice in Andover who provide outstanding end of life care to adults with life-limiting illness.
We are looking to recruit a part-time The Countess of Brecknock Hospice Trust is looking to recruit a part-time Administration Assistant for a six-month contract in the first instance. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the charity office and hospice reception.
**Reporting to the Charity Administrator, you will**:
- run our reception, greeting visitors, answering the telephone, taking and distributing messages.
- provide exceptional support to our charity team.
- undertake other general tasks which could include arranging appointments, providing refreshments, photocopying, assisting with events.
**About You**
- Educated to secondary school standard or equivalent.
- Happy to talk to people that you do not know in person and over the telephone, keen to build relationships.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office.
- Willingness to get involved and learn new skills.
- You must be able to work well under pressure and without supervision
- Keen and confident to prioritise and organise your own workload and have an excellent attitude towards new challenges
- Eligible to work in the UK.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: £12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 per week
