Sales Coordinator Hybrid Role

Personnel Selection are excited to be working with our Andover based client. They are a well respected, thriving business and are looking for a Sales Coordinator on a full time, permanent basis. This can be offered as a hybrid role, working 2 days a weekfrom the office and the rest remotely.
The purpose of the role is to promote key products and solutions to customers through all channels, but primarily through direct sales of new print and digital adoptions to maximise revenue and achieve annual sales goals.
The role of Sales Coordinator will involve:
- Build strong working relationships with key clients in the territory to promote products
- Retain and roll all existing business across the territory and reinvent to direct/digital solutions where possible
- Identify key strategic accounts and new business opportunities by effectively implementing a sales and business strategy
- Close new business opportunities leading to adoption
- Follow up on qualified new business and upselling opportunities
- Monitor competitor activity across the region
- Pursue all editorial leads and forward these to the relevant editor/marketing manager
- Prepare monthly reports
- Provide pricing, and follow up on product trials for customers where a Field Sales contact is not required
- Follow up and validate incoming leads from marketing campaigns
The ideal person for the role of Sales Coordinator has:
- A track record of consistent sales success
- Consultative selling skills
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills
- Must be a highly motivated and well organised individual
- Strong IT proficiency
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Organised and good time management and planning skills
- Clean driving license
- Strong Microsoft Office, CRM and ERP skills
- To be able to successfully demo all Cengage digital courseware solutions
- Degree education preferred though not essential
- Dynamic, enthusiastic, erudite, and articulate
Please note, there would be a requirement to travel to the Scandinavian region 2 ro 3 times a year.
