**Interim Finance Director**

**Location**:Central London with a flexible WFH policy

**Duration**:9 months

**Salary**:Up to £100k

Consumer Additions has partnered with a high-growth retail/e-commerce company to recruit a 9-month maternity cover Finance Director contract.

This position manages a team of 12 that have responsibility for both financial control and commercial finance within their UK division. The assignment will include an interesting blend of BAU and transformational challenges.

**Responsibilities**:

- Partner with key business stakeholders, inputting on commercial discussions, decision support, and anticipating issues
- Develop and enhance the growing Business Partnering team
- Ensure the UK entity has well-constructed business plans and budgets including risk and opportunities
- Lead and own weekly and monthly commercial reporting in which financial performance and KPIs are reviewed
- Deliver an accurate understanding of financial & business performance consistent with International Financial Reporting Standards
- Ensure that Company financial processes are robust, compliant and fit for current and future growth requirements including all legal and regulatory requirements are adhered to

**Requirements**:

- You are ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
- You have previous experience as a senior finance leader
- You have a strong commercial and strategic sense to identify the most important KPIs for your organisation and enough gravitas to rally everyone behind constantly improving those
- You are highly driven to perform and have proven analytical capabilities
- You have experience building accurate financial models and forecasts to support day-to-day business
- You are adept at using financial reporting and consolidation tools
- Ideally you have experience in financial control/audit and subsequent experience at corporate
- Previous retail or ecommerce experience is a nice to have
